We are honoured that Grianan was recognised at the 2025 Stirling Society of Architects Awards. The ceremony, held alongside the SSA’s winter social, was a wonderful occasion to celebrate regional architecture and share ideas with peers.
Grianan received an award in the category recognising work beyond the chapter itself, reflecting the careful attention to site, form and material that guided the project.
The event offered a moment to reflect on the house’s quiet ambitions: to sit lightly within its orchard setting, to frame light and views with intention, and to create an atmosphere of calm and connection. The SSA’s recognition underscores the value of architecture that responds with clarity and restraint to its context.
